SU Faculty Works on Display in Rehoboth August 8-September 11

'Hardly Ever Heard' by Jinchul KimSALISBURY, MD---Works by select Salisbury University art faculty are on exhibit during “Surface to Space” August 8-September 11 at the AerieArt Gallery, 45 ½ Lake Street, in Rehoboth Beach, DE.

An opening reception is 5-8 p.m. Saturday, August 8.

Curated by SU art faculty Jinchul Kim, the exhibit features his works, as well as those from artists Alison Chism, Paul Flexner, Dean Peterson, James Hill and Brooke Rogers.

“The show is about how aesthetic depth of each individual's statement and message can be executed by creating various surface treatment of each artwork,” said Kim. “I wanted to convey the indispensable relationship between pictorial surface and conceptual space using various art forms.”
