SU Explores Korean Culture March 31

SALISBURY, MD---Salisbury University explores Korean culture through The Art and Politics of Korea 1:30 p.m. Saturday, March 31, in Fulton Hall Room 112.

Following an informal reception, the event features two lectures by Jinchul Kim of the Art Department and Dr. Taehyun Nam of the Political Science Department. At 2 p.m., Kim, an internationally renowned painter, discusses his art work and how it epitomizes “East Meets West.” Nam offers an introduction to Korean politics at 3 p.m.

The event also features musical performances by students from the Department of Music and pianist SungEun “Sunny” Kim (’06) who earned a bachelor’s degree in music.
