SU Cultural Affairs Office Sponsors Bus Trip to Washington D.C., March 7

Washington D.C.SALISBURY, MD---Salisbury University’s Cultural Affairs Office sponsors a cultural immersion bus trip to Washington, D.C., featuring “The Embassies and Arts of Europe” Saturday, March 7.

The bus leaves the Guerrieri University Center parking lot at 9 a.m. It departs Washington, D.C., at 10 p.m.

Held in conjunction with World Artists Experiences, Inc., stops include the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts’ Picasso ceramic exhibit, as well as a Millennium Stage performance and visit to a European embassy. The trip culminates with a performance by the National Symphony Orchestra, celebrating four of Spain’s finest composers — Ernesto Halffter, Manuel de Falla, Joaquin Turina and Isaac Albéniz — as well as Brazil’s Heitor Villa-Lobos.

Tickets, available at the Information Desk of the Guerrieri University Center, are $65 for students, faculty and staff, $85 for the greater community. Signups begin Friday, February 6.
