SSU Dance Company Matinee for Elementary Students April 16

SALISBURY, MD---The Salisbury State University Dance Company offers a free children's matinee for elementary age students on Thursday, April 16, at 1 p.m. in Holloway Hall on campus.

Since 1990 this dance performance has been offered as an educational, artistic, and cultural service to the school community. The 50-minute program features live commentary and introduces young children to various dance styles and ideas that can be explored through dance movement.

In lieu of an admission charge, the children are invited to participate in a Maryland Food Bank Drive. Last year 348 pounds of canned goods were donated. Collection bins are set up in the theatre lobby. Students receive a program to share with parents.
