Religious Leaders Discuss Attack on America Oct. 15 

SALISBURY, MD--"Faith Seeking Understanding: An Interfaith Response to the Attack on America,” a roundtable discussion with area religious leaders about the September 11 tragedies, is on Monday, October 15, at 7 p.m. in Caruthers Hall Auditorium at Salisbury University. 

Moderated by Dr. Brian Polkinghorn, executive director of the Center for Conflict Resolution (CCR) at SU, the panelists are Rev. Wes Davis, pastor, Asbury United Methodist Church; Father Joseph Kandathiparampil, pastor, St. Francis De Sales Roman Catholic Church; Imam Fazal Khattak, Muslim chaplain, Eastern Correctional Institute, Princess Anne; Rev. Dr. Kay Myers, Presbyterian clergy and director of pastoral care, Peninsula Regional Medical Center; Dr. Dasan Potti, Hindu priest, Hindu Temple of the Eastern Shore; George Stroop, Bahá'í faith; and Rabbi Richard White, Beth Israel Synagogue. 

The evening begins with introductions and roundtable discussion, followed by questions and answers between the panelists and audience.
