Pi Gamma Mu Renews Book Purchase Campaign

SALISBURY, MD---Salisbury University’s Maryland Gamma chapter of Pi Gamma Mu, the international honor society of the social sciences, has renewed its campaign to purchase books for Blackwell Library while simultaneously endowing the library’s Tribute Program.

The Tribute Program allows individuals, groups, and organizations to purchase a book, or books, or a series of books to donate to the library in the name of an organization, favorite professor, administrator, mentor or loved one.

“In light of the budgetary crisis, it is a good service project from which any and all organizations on campus can benefit. Therefore, Pi Gamma Mu challenges any and all groups on campus to contribute to this worthy cause,” said Dr. Clara Small, one of the Maryland Gamma chapter advisors and Chancellor of the Northeast region of Pi Gamma Mu.
