NPR's Jamie McIntyre Speaks at SU Wednesday, October 9

Jamie McIntyreSALISBURY, MD---National Public Radio (NPR) fans used to hearing Jamie McIntyre on All Things Considered have the chance to see the award-winning newscaster live at Salisbury University Wednesday, October 9.

McIntyre speaks at 7 p.m. in the Wicomico Room of the Guerrieri University Center.

His career in news spans more than three decades. Before joining NPR in 2011, he spent 16 years as a military correspondent for CNN. He also established the blog Jamie McIntyre’s Line of Departure and continues to contribute to the site frequently as an analyst on military and media issues.

Beyond his journalism work, McIntyre enjoys stand-up comedy and has been named Washington, D.C.’s funniest reporter. In addition to his duties with NPR, he also serves as an adjunct professor at the University of Maryland’s Philip Merrill College of Journalism.
