Folk Singer Pamela Goddard Performs at SU April 23

SALISBURY, MD---Award-winning a cappella singer Pamela Goddard brings traditional folk music to the Great Hall of Salisbury University’s Holloway Hall 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 23.

Her debut CD, As Time Draws Near: Traditional Songs From the North and South, collects folk songs from Virginia, North Carolina, Tennessee, Kentucky, New York and New England. It won the Ithaca Journal’s 2006 Jimmy Award for best folk CD.

Goddard’s April 23 performance is free and the public is invited.

In addition, she sings during SU Dining Services’ Celtic Meal 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, April 22, in the Bistro of the Commons. Cost of the dinner is $9.68, $5.95 for children 6-12, free for children 5 and under.
