Business Coaching: Getting the Most from Yourself and Others" offered September 26

SALISBURY, MD ------"Business Coaching: Getting the Most from Yourself and Others," a one-day workshop sponsored by Salisbury University's Center for Professional Development, is on Thursday, September 26, on the SU campus.

The workshop, coordinated by Kathryn Danko-Lord, president of Responsible Resources, Inc. (RRI), a skills and attitudes development company, is designed to define business coaching and to foster proficiency with distinct coaching models, practice skills and techniques of effective business coaches.

Danko-Lord's career spans over 15 years of all facets of human resources. She has taught undergraduate business and human resources management courses at Wilmington (DE) College and is currently an on-line instructor with UCLA. She has been a business/personal coach and has worked with high potential employees for many years. In addition to managing all facets of human resources including training and development, HR compliance, labor relations, safety and worker's compensation, Danko-Lord has experience as a chief media spokesperson and lobbyist.

The workshop is at the Scarborough Student Leadership Center from 8:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. Continental breakfast and lunch are included.

The fee for the workshop is $95. A $5 discount is offered for members of the Society of Human Resources Managers (SHRM) and Chamber of Commerce members.
