Bernstein Award Presenters Announced

SALISBURY, MD---The public is cordially invited to the culmination of this year’s Salisbury University Bernstein Award Competition from 2-5:30 p.m. Saturday, May 3, in room 114 of Holloway Hall.

Founded in 1987, the competition awards a prize of $5,000 for the best business plan created by SU students. This year’s finalists were selected from 26 business plans representing a variety of industries, submitted by students from the University’s various schools.

Judges from the local business community select the winners, who will be announced at an awards dinner following the presentations.

Presenters are:

2:00-2:40 p.m. Cosmic Cleaners (Timothy Wheeler)

2:50-3:30 p.m. Flooring Dimensions (Charles Kramms Jr.)

3:50-4:30 p.m. SeaScape Sailing School (Denise Baird and Janel Keener)

4:40-5:20 p.m. Stripe Tech (Janet Lynne Wilson)

Dennis Hebert - Shore Bank (vice president, Maryland Division)

Rafael Correa - MaTech, Inc. (owner)
