Artists' Co-Op Exhibit May 27-June 24 in University Gallery

SALISBURY, MD---Members of the Eastern Shore Artists’ Co-Op display their works at Salisbury University May 27-June 24 in the University Gallery of Fulton Hall. An opening reception is 5-7 p.m. Friday, May 27. Artists in the co-op are widely recognized local art professionals whose pieces vary in media and style. Many in the co-op teach art, conduct workshops and show their works nationally and abroad, winning individual awards in solo and juried exhibitions.
  Participating SU faculty include Marie Cavallaro and Clytie Whitson-Taylor. Local artists are April Devlin, Ann Eelman, Sue Thomas, Margery Violetta, Aina Negaard-Nammack, Gloria Young Smith, Betty Sur, Angela Herbert-Hodges, retired SU staff, Paula Hepburn and local art teacher Nancy Mysak. Forms of artwork displayed include abstract watercolor collages, ceramics, drawing, fiber art, painting, photography and sculpture. The gallery, operating on summer hours will be open Tuesday-Friday, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. The exhibit is free and the public is invited.
