Princeton Review Names SU a 'Best Value College for 2027'

SALISBURY, MD---Last month The Princeton Review again named Salisbury University one of The Best 392 Colleges in the U.S.

Now, the publisher has added another accolade to SU’s growing list, highlighting it as one of the nation’s 209 “Best Value Colleges for 2027.”

“As national rankings and honors continue to mount for SU this fall, this distinction is especially meaningful because it reflects our commitment to providing students an exceptional education at an affordable price,” said President Carolyn Ringer Lepre. “It also speaks to the lasting value of a Salisbury University degree. Our graduates leave SU prepared to build successful careers and make a difference in their communities, with an education that continues to serve them well long after graduation.”

The Princeton Review’s Best Value rankings are based on more than 40 data points covering academics, affordability and career services. In addition to this most recent honor, the publisher also has named SU among the “Best Mid-Atlantic Colleges” and “Top 50 Green Colleges” for 2027.

Other publications also have given SU high marks this fall. Earlier this month, U.S. News & World Report ranked the University No. 45 on its 2027 list of “Best Regional Universities: North,” also placing it among the region’s “Top Public Schools,” “Best Colleges for Veterans,” and “Top Performers on Social Mobility.”

Money and Forbes again ranked SU one of the “Best Colleges in America” and “America’s Top Colleges,” respectively, while Time named SU one of “America’s Best Colleges” in its inaugural collegiate rankings.

Continuing the “best value” theme, Washington Monthly also lauded SU as one of this year’s “Best Colleges for Your Tuition (and Tax) Dollars.”
