SU Announces New Sea Gull Sibling Scholarship

Salisbury University loves to see siblings flock together — and now there’s support to match.

SU recently announced a new Sea Gull Sibling Scholarship for any student with a sibling concurrently enrolled at the University. Given during the fall and spring semesters, the scholarship is equal to 5% of current tuition rates. For undergraduates, this is $409 per year for in-state students and $1,015 per year for out-of-state students for the 2026-27 academic year. Over 100 SU students will be eligible for the scholarship.

“Supporting our students and their families is at the heart of who we are,” said SU President Carolyn R. Lepre. “The Sea Gull Sibling Scholarship is another way we’re working to ease the financial pressures of pursuing a degree while celebrating the families who choose Salisbury University together.”

“SU has long been recognized among one of the best values in higher education,” said Allen Koehler, associate vice president of enrollment management. “But even with that distinction, we understand how difficult it is for families with multiple students in college at once, especially in the current economy. This is our way of saying, ‘We see you. We understand, and we’re here to help.’”

The program recognizes families who choose SU for multiple degree pathways. Qualifying undergraduates will be eligible for the scholarship for up to eight semesters, while graduate students could receive it up to four. The scholarship cannot be combined with any other tuition waiver or discount provided by SU. Recipients must be degree-seeking, enrolled at least half-time, and meet Satisfactory Academic Progress.
