SU Multicultural Festival Celebration Scheduled May 1-2

SALISBURY, MD---Salisbury University holds its annual Multicultural Festival celebration Monday-Tuesday, May 1-2.

Events include:

  • Monday, May 1, 3-6 p.m., Wicomico Room, Guerrieri Student Union and Link of Nations – International Fair and Multicultural Festival: Visitors explore the rich and dynamic diversity that makes SU a special place. International students and those who have studied abroad present traditional foods from their home and visited countries. Additional offerings include music, dancing and food.
  • Tuesday, May 2, noon-1:30 p.m., Commons, Worcester Room - Diversity Lunch and Learn: Attendees hear from SU alumni and community members on how their diverse backgrounds helped to shape and support their college and future experiences. Lunch will be served. (Open to SU students, faculty and staff only.)
  • Tuesday, May 2, 2 p.m., Commons, Worcester Room -  President’s Diversity and Inclusion Champion Awards ceremony: Members of the SU community who make extraordinary contributions to promote the appreciation and understanding of cultural diversity, and advance institutional diversity and inclusion goals are celebrated.
