SU Offers Interest Sessions on B.S.N. Program

SALISBURY, MD---For students seeking to become innovative and dynamic leaders in health care, Salisbury University’s Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N.) Program can help set them on the path to success.

Those interested in learning more about earning a B.S.N. are invited to attend interest sessions hosted by SU’s School of Nursing at 1:30 p.m. Monday, February 27, via zoom, and 4 p.m. Wednesday, March 1 in Devilbiss Hall rooms 226 and 228.

“Nursing is a higher calling, and providing comfort and care to others is of tremendous importance to families, individuals and communities,” said Dr. Debra Webster, director of SU’s School of Nursing. “In the Nursing Program at SU, you'll have countless opportunities for personal and professional growth.”

SU nursing students achieved the highest pass rates of all B.S.N.-granting programs in Maryland on the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX) in 2022. SU also has the highest 10-year average pass rate of all University System of Maryland institutions.

The School of Nursing offers three tracks to a B.S.N.: one for traditional undergraduate students (first B.S.N.), a second for non-nursing college graduates (second B.S.N.) and a third for registered nurses (RN).

The information sessions are free and open to all interested individuals. Registration is required for the virtual session via the program website.
