SU Presents Studio Series of Imaginative Performances

SALISBURY, MD---Salisbury University’s Music, Theatre and Dance Department hosts its inaugural Studio Series, a diverse collection of performances, in the Black Box Theatre of Fulton Hall October 27-December 10.

Events include:

  • Friday, October 27, 7:30 p.m. – Ghost Notes: SU faculty and guests present a Halloween-themed event featuring Baba Yaga, baritone Jeffrey Todd and the SU Percussion Ensemble.
  • Friday-Sunday, November 3-5 – SU Dance Company Fall Student Showcase: Curtain for this annual showcase, directed by Helen Myers, is 7:30 p.m., 2 p.m. Sunday. The concert features a mix of dances choreographed and performed by SU students.
  • Friday-Sunday, November 10-12 – “Maybe This Time … A Night of Musical Theatre”: Curtain for this performance by students in SU’s Musical Theatre Workshop is 7:30 p.m., 2 p.m. Sunday. From beloved classics to contemporary hits, this showcase spans multiple genres.
  • Saturday-Sunday, December 9-10 – The Swing of the Sea by Molly Hagan: Curtain for this whimsical performance is 7:30 p.m., 2 p.m. Sunday. The story of Boots and Eggs, two childhood friends struggling to cope with losing a dear friend, represents a journey of self-discovery, exploring what it means to grow old without losing the magic of youth. The performance is directed by students in SU’s Directing course.
