'Mura Vive' Exhibit Opens at SU Art Galleries February 6

SALISBURY, MD---Brooke Rogers, Salisbury University professor of art, shares new paintings in his solo exhibit “Mura Vive” (“Living Walls”) February 6-March 31 at the SU Art Galleries Downtown (SUAGD).

Join us for a reception at 5-7 p.m. on Friday, February 17, featuring the premiere of an experimental jazz composition, “Scaffolding,” by Jerry Tabor, SU professor of music. To learn more about “Living Walls” join us for an artist talk with Rogers at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 2.

Some of Rogers’ work on display is based on his sabbatical research trip to Rome. Also included are 3-D constructed paintings that reuse parts from old works.
