SUAG Hosts ‘FLOW’ Exhibition, Artist Talk, Concert

art workSALISBURY, MD---Celebrating art that evolves from a sentient experience rather than conscious thought, Salisbury Univesrity Art Galleries Downtown (SUAGD) hosts the exhibition “FLOW” August 30-November 6.

An exhibition talk with artist Wingchow is 5:30 p.m. Thursday, October 21. A live concert featuring bands Dirt Woman and LITZ is 7 p.m. Saturday, October 23. Both are at SUAGD.

“FLOW” features artwork on the transcendence of the mind and the mind’s ability to explore surreal and abstract ideas. Media includepaintings, sculptures and immersive installation.

Wingchow is a Richmond-based painter and muralist whose work is easily recognized through the use of distinct amorphous forms.

LITZ headlines the concert with Dirt Woman as the opening act. LITZ features SU alumnus Austin Litz, a multi-instrumentalist, singer and producer who blends music, technology and futuristic sound.

The artist talk and concert are free and the public is invited.

Those planning to attend must complete online COVID-19 symptom self-screening in advance.

Visitors not fully vaccinated against COVID-19 are required to wear a face mask while inside campus buildings.
