Salisbury Pops Performs Virtually May 4

popsSALISBURY, MD---The Salisbury Pops at Salisbury University performs its annual spring concert “I See the Light,” 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 4, in a virtual format.

Directed by Lee Knier, the concert features songs that reflect what many have felt during the COVID-19 pandemic, along with hopes for the near future.

Guest faculty artist is Dr. John Wesley Wright, tenor. Student soloist Elijah Fallon performs on alto saxophone. Fallon and Allyson Morris serve as student conductors.

Selections include Joseph Kosman’s “Autumn Leaves,” John Philip Sousa’s “The Liberty Bell March” and Harold Arlen’s “Over the Rainbow.”
