Important COVID-19 Information for SU Employees

Dear SU Faculty and Staff,

As Salisbury University continues its COVID-19 precautions, please note the following:

  • All Maryland residents age 16 and older, including out-of-state students attending SU, are eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. All SU community members are encouraged to get vaccinated.
  • Scheduled vaccine appointments are available through the Maryland Department of Health at the Wicomico Youth & Civic Center. To register visit www.covidvax.maryland.gov or call 1-855-MD-GOVAX. (Note: Walk-ups are no longer being accepted.)
  • Scheduled vaccine appointments are available through the Wicomico County Health Department at the former Tuesday Morning store at the Centre at Salisbury. To register follow the instructions at https://www.wicomicohealth.org/preparedness/coronavirus-covid-19/#Vaccine%20Info.
  • Regardless of vaccination status, SU will continue to require employees to take an SU-administered COVID-19 test with a negative result every two weeks (for employees on campus more than twice a month) or monthly (with pre-approval for employees on campus twice a month or less) to maintain access to campus buildings, classrooms and offices.
  • Employees who have not yet signed up for testing should email COVIDTesting@salisbury.edu to schedule their first test.
  • Employees who need to schedule their next test should do so at https://sutesting.timetap.com.
  • Those needing accommodations at the testing site in the Great Hall of Holloway Hall should email CampusHealth@salisbury.edu.

Please stay safe, and thank you for continuing to do your part to #ProtectTheFlock.
