Important COVID-19 Information for SU Employees

Dear Faculty and Staff,

As Salisbury University continues its COVID-19 precautions, please note the following:

  • Beginning today, Maryland has moved into Phase 2A of its COVID-19 vaccination plan, making vaccinations available for all state residents age 60 and over. Appointments may be scheduled at www.covidvax.maryland.gov. For more information visit https://www.facebook.com/GovLarryHogan/posts/4217651091612957.
  • There are currently two mass vaccination sites in Wicomico County: one operated by the Maryland Department of Health at the Wicomico Youth & Civic Center and one operated by the Wicomico County Health Department at the former Tuesday Morning store at the Centre at Salisbury. When you receive your appointment verification, please check your assigned location to ensure you arrive at the correct site.
  • At this time, those who receive the COVID-19 vaccine still are required to have regular SU-administered testing to maintain access to campus buildings, classrooms and offices.
  • Employees who have not been tested in more than 14 days should sign up for their next test at http://sutesting.timetap.com. Employees on campus less than twice per month should email COVIDTesting@salisbury.edu to determine a monthly testing plan for building access.
  • Beginning Wednesday, March 24, Gull Card access for students and employees who are not compliant with weekly testing will be turned off. They will not be able to enter campus buildings or use their Gull Cards at the Commons, satellite dining locations, off-campus merchants or any other venue. For more information visit https://www.salisbury.edu/news/article/2021-3-23-Important-COVID-19-Information-for-SU-Students.
  • Please remember that you must show your Gull Card at each testing appointment. Those without a Gull Card will not be eligible for testing.

Please stay safe, and thank you for continuing to do your part to #ProtectTheFlock.
