CELL Hosts 'Mirror Mirror' Writing and Photography Retreat July 16-17

University HouseSALISBURY, MD---Salisbury’s inaugural poet laureate and writing instructor Nancy Mitchell joins Mehves Lelic, photographer and Salisbury University Art Galleries program director, to present the artist retreat ‘Mirror Mirror’ from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. Tuesday-Wednesday, July 16-17 at the University House, 1116 Camden Ave.

The two-day class is sponsored by SU’s Center for Extended and Lifelong Learning (CELL) and will teach how creative writing and photography reflect and inspire each other. 

Those taking the class will participate in photography exercises in order to inspire written work, and write their own stories to inspire pictures.

Guests are invited to view participants work during a closing exhibit and reception 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 17. 

The retreat fee is $150 including lunch and materials. Participants must provide their own camera or smart phone; no previous experience required. To register visit the SU CELL website.
