Flash Flood Watch Remains in Effect Until 4 a.m. Saturday, April 20

SALISBURY, MD---The flash flood watch issued by the National Weather Service (NWS) for Wicomico County and surrounding areas remains in effect until 4 a.m. Saturday, April 20.

Flash flooding will be possible particularly in urban areas, the NWS said. Drivers and pedestrians are encouraged to avoid traveling through flooded areas.

SALISBURY, MD---The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a tornado watch for Wicomico County and surrounding areas until midnight Saturday, April 20. Those in the immediate area are encouraged to remain indoors if posslbe, as conditions are favorable for a tornado to develop.

The flash flood watch issued this afternoon remains in effect until 4 a.m.

Multiple rounds of showers and thunderstorms producing up to three inches of heavy rain are expected. Flash flooding will be possible particularly in urban areas, the NWS said. Drivers and pedestrians are encouraged to avoid traveling through flooded areas.
