Salisbury Pops Continues Family Festival of Music With Annual Winter Concert

Together for the holidaysSALISBURY, MD---The Salisbury Pops continues Salisbury University’s “Oh, What Fun: A Family Festival of Music” with its annual winter concert, “Together for the Holidays,” on Tuesday, December 4.

Directed by Lee Knier, the performance is 7:30 p.m. in Holloway Hall Auditorium.

The concert features seasonal favorites such as “Christmas Day” by Gustav Holst (with guest baritone soloist William Willis); “Waltz of the Flowers” from the Nutcracker Suite; “The Toy Trumpet” by Raymond Scott (featuring soloist Bill Kraus); and Leroy Anderson’s “Sleigh Ride.”

The performance will culminate with a visit from Santa Claus. Donations also will be accepted for the Salvation Army’s annual Kettle Campaign.
