Information Literacy Partner of the Month
September/October 2018
Congratulations to Dr. Isabel Quintana Wulf of the Department of English, who is the SU Libraries’ Information Literacy Partner of the Month for September-October. This is what James Parrigin, librarian liaison to English, wrote in nominating her:
I’d like to nominate the English Department’s Dr. Isabel Quintana Wulf for working with me to develop ways to help students find sources that support their analyses of literature in her ENGL 257 Multiculturalism and Its Discontents and ENGL 300 Border Crossings courses. Although these are two unfamiliar literature areas for me, Dr. Quintana Wulf has continued to offer insight and suggestions that have really helped me to develop library instruction content that strives to assist students in these classes.
It is for this willingness to creatively work with librarians to help students engage with information sources that we have chosen Dr. Wulf as the SU Libraries’ Information Literacy Partner of the Month for September-October.
In addition to recognizing Dr. Wulf on the SU Libraries’ website and social media, we also will purchase a book in a field of her choice to be added to the Libraries’ collection in her honor.
