My research interests lie at the intersection of atomic nuclear physics and Bayesian statistical methods. I use the method of effective field theory (EFT) to make predictions of nuclear structure and reactions with the ultimate goal of full uncertainty quantification. I am further interested in other regimes of nuclear physics where statistical methods can be usefully applied to gain physics insight and to make reliable comparisons of theory with experiment.
