The Campus Recreation Department is proud to offer recreational Rock Wall opportunities for all students, faculty and staff of any skill or experience level. The Rock Wall can be located inside Maggs PAC.

Interested in finding a new hobby or trying something new?

Start your rock-climbing adventure here at Salisbury University! Campus Recreation Rock Wall Staff are fully trained and equipped to assist first-time climbers.

All climbing gear, including harnesses, climbing shoes, and helmets, will be provided at the Rock Wall. Participants are required to fill out a liability form before climbing. Forms will be provided by staff upon arrival.

Belaying

All belayers must pass a belay test conducted by a Campus Recreation Rock Wall Staff member. If you're interested in learning how to belay our staff will be more than happy to teach you how it's done. Belaying is an important skill in climbing and a certification from Salisbury University is an excellent first step to becoming a proficient rock climber.
