Scholars Day - Saturday March 9, 2019
Congratulations on your acceptance to Salisbury University! On behalf of the Office of Admissions, you and your parents are invited to attend Scholars Day to be held on Saturday, March 9. Scholars Day is a program which will provide you with several opportunities to see first-hand how SU will embrace and challenge your academic talents. The day’s events will begin with a welcome from President Charles Wight followed by a visit to explore the academic area of your interest, where deans of each of our schools and faculty will highlight Salisbury University’s distinctive opportunities. After learning more about your academic interest, you will gather with other Scholars for a banquet lunch. During lunch you will hear from the Director of SU’s Nationally Competitive Fellowships Office. Following lunch, you will attend concurrent sessions and hear information on student research opportunities, Honors College opportunities, a question-and-answer panel of past and present SU students who will share their insight and perspective to the SU experience, and a tour of a Living Learning Community. We will end the day with a social send-off in our brand new Guerrieri Academic Commons.
Approximately 150 scholars and their parents will be in attendance. We invite you to attend Scholars Day and celebrate your outstanding academic success.
