All-Gender/Gender-Inclusive Restrooms Facilities

Salisbury University is a welcoming community and all campus spaces are inclusive. Campus community members who seek additional privacy are invited to use SU’s all-gender facilities. Salisbury University has designated 31 all-gender/gender-inclusive restrooms throughout our campus, which can be readily identified by signage.

Everyone deserves equal access to our facilities. Our goal is to eliminate barriers and improve accessibility for all persons regardless of gender, disability, religion, age, etc. by providing facilities that are accommodating for all who come to our campus. This includes transgender or gender non-conforming individuals, individuals with disabilities who may require help from an assistant who is not of the same gender, parents and caregivers whose children are a different gender from them, etc.

In particular, gender diversity is welcomed on our campus. By offering all-gender/gender-inclusive restroom options, the University hopes to increase access, comfort and safety in its facilities. All are welcome to use the facilities that are right for them, whether all-gender/gender-inclusive restrooms or the restroom that best fits their gender identity and expression.

Restroom Locations

In our ongoing effort to increase accessibility to our facilities, we will continue to look for ways to incorporate more all-gender/gender-inclusive restrooms throughout our campus through the conversion of additional existing spaces and their integration into future building and renovation plans.

As of January 2024, the list of all-gender/gender-inclusive restrooms on our main campus is as follows:

SU also provides access to Parenting/Lactation Rooms. Please see our Parenting/Lactation Rooms page for more information.
