COVID-19 Precautions Continue for Spring Semester

Facilities Reservations

Events sponsored by SU and its affiliates may permit indoor visitors as long as they adhere to the rooms’ COVID-19 capacities, and SU’s COVID-19 policies regarding visitor check-in, face mask requirements and maintaining at least 6 feet of physical distance between each person in the room. This includes functions in Holloway Hall Auditorium, the Guerrieri Academic Commons Assembly Hall and other large venues on campus.

All visitors to campus attending sponsored events must check in for a COVID-19 screening and visitor pass at the event location. The event sponsors will provide the screening and pass. If you need more information on screening requirements, please contact the event sponsor.

Visitors to campus not attending sponsored events, including those on official business, should check in at the following locations to be screened and receive a visitor pass:

  • Weekdays – Holloway Hall main entrance, 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
  • All other times – SU Police Department, East Campus Complex, Power Street (walk-up, ring buzzer at door)

As a safety precaution, individuals may be asked to show proof of screening clearance, visitor pass, or proof of event by university officials. Access may be denied for non-compliance.

Facilities Reservations schedules space for members of the SU community holding meetings and events on campus in areas including classrooms, auditoriums, and meeting, banquet and conference rooms. If you are a community member, connect with the Conference Planning Office to learn more about scheduling your event.

Requesting a Space

Please use our Online Request Center to request a space. SU sign-in information is required. Please note: Requesting a facility does not mean that space is reserved. Facilities Reservations staff must evaluate each request to determine if it is the best use of space for the University and whether there is adequate time before or after an event to accommodate other activities scheduled for each location. You will receive a confirmation once space is confirmed. We provide detailed instructions for using the Online Request Center (PDF).

Please allow at least three working days for requests to be processed. (Requests may take longer during peak times such as the beginning of the semester.) Our operations are governed by the University’s Facilities Use Policy.
