Welcome to OURCA
The mission of the Office of Undergraduate Research and Creative Activity (OURCA) at Salisbury University (SU) is to cultivate a vibrant environment of undergraduate scholarship through supporting faculty-student mentorship at all levels. Whether you are an incoming freshman or a graduating senior, OURCA provides resources to give every student at SU the support to get started with your research, conduct your research, and present your research. You can learn about existing student research, research courses at SU, past SUSRC and NCUR faculty mentors, funding from OURCA, funding sources across SU, and identifying and presenting at scholarly conferences. Engaging in faculty mentored scholarly collaborations empowers students with independent critical engagement skills, helps build meaningful relationships with faculty, strengthens student learning outcomes, increases success in graduate and professional fields, and positively impacts societal engagement skills.
