What is CASA?

Creative and Scholarly Accomplishments (CASA) is a campus initiative designed to recognize, celebrate, and share the creative and scholarly work of Salisbury University faculty and staff. The CASA space in the Social Room serves as a physical showcase of selected works, while a companion website will provide a broader, more comprehensive view of scholarship across the University.

SU Launches Creative and Scholarly Accomplishments Collection

February 6, 2026

SALISBURY, MD---Salisbury University recently launched the Creative and Scholarly Accomplishments (CASA): the SU Faculty and Staff Collection.

The latest in SU’s ongoing centennial celebrations, the collection honors the creative and scholarly work of the campus community.

“I am such a believer in building relationships and learning deeply about one another beyond our research and academic scholarship,” said SU President Carolyn Ringer Lepre. “We are more than just colleagues. We are members of a shared campus community.”

A celebration of the new initiative was held in conjunction with SU’s annual Teaching and Learning Conference and Faculty Friday.

“The CASA space was inspired by the rigorous research and achievement of our world-class faculty and staff,” said Lepre. “Though not comprehensive, the works on display offer just a glimpse into the scholarship and creativity happening across campus every day.”

The space, in the newly renovated Holloway Hall Social Room, serves as a physical showcase of selected works, while a companion website provides a broader, more comprehensive view of scholarship and creative works across the University.
