Mission Statement
The AI Readiness Workgroup at Salisbury University, commissioned by the Provost, is dedicated to understanding and advancing the role of artificial intelligence across our campus community. Our mission is to assess the current state of AI in teaching, learning, research, operations, and student support — highlighting the innovation already underway while ensuring ethical and responsible integration of emerging technologies. By mapping existing strengths and identifying future opportunities, the Workgroup supports Salisbury University’s commitment to preparing students, faculty, and staff to thrive in an increasingly AI-informed world.
