FIELD INSTRUCTION IV

The second of a two-semester (fall/spring) sequence of supervised advanced field practicum experience in the delivery of social services where students are required to continue to work three days a week the same social welfare agency the student entered in SOWK 665 under the supervision of an agency-based field instructor with an M.S.W. Successful completion of the two-course sequence requires a student to fulfill a minimum of 672 hours of field instruction within the same social welfare agency accumulated across the fall and spring semesters. Prerequisite: SOWK 665 with a grade of C or better. Three working days per week. A seminar with small group discussions on field experiences with related written assignments and activities conducted concurrently.
