Dr. Anderson is a bioinformatician and cancer researcher. His lab specializes in using computers to analyze human cancer datasets with the goal of improving our understanding of the number and types of genes that are corrupted during tumor initiation and progression.

Research Interests

Dr. Anderson's long-term research interests are in the area of genomics and using Big Data to understand how genome regulation changes affect the initiation and progression of human prostate cancer. My lab uses tools from the genomics toolkit such as RNA-Seq, ChIP-Seq and Exome-Seq to test how changes to prostate cells and tissues transform the regulatory landscape of DNA binding sites and histone modifications in vitro and in vivo.
