I chose education because the younger generation must have someone to teach them how to maintain high standards in patient care. Competent caring nurses are mentored by competent and caring educators. My philosophy of teaching is to ethically uphold high-quality, safe health care without bias. I also utilize the philosophy of student-centered learning to accomplish a lifelong approach to evidence-based practice.
