Teaching Philosophy

My philosophy of teaching is that learning should be inclusive, innovative, student-centered, and foster critical thinking skills. At the core of my teaching philosophy, I strive to ensure that I am providing quality education and that my students are successfully learning the fundamental information of the course. Experiential learning is also an important part of my teaching pedagogy, which allows students to apply their knowledge to real-world situations during their internship experience. I began teaching to share my passion for the field of clinical exercise physiology and I look forward to sharing my knowledge to facilitate student learning each time I walk into the classroom.
