Dr. Auerbach loves to learn and is a roller-skating enthusiast! Her research focuses on the teaching and learning of biology within the context of active learning. Additionally, she focuses on the pedagogical knowledge needed to effectively implement active-learning practices such as creating a learning environment where all students have the same access and opportunities, all students feel that they belong, and all students have access to specific instructor feedback.
