Sea Gull Start-Up

Sea Gull Start-Up is a one-day event designed to prepare students and their families for their first semester at Salisbury University. Attendance is required for incoming freshmen; transfer students are strongly encouraged to attend. At Sea Gull Start-Up, you will receive an overview of University life and connect with academic leaders, and receive your class schedule. Parents and family members are welcome to attend (students and parents follow different schedules). Students will receive information about Sea Gull Start-Up along with instructions on how to register for Sea Gull Start-Up, from the Office of Admissions.

Sea Gull Start-Up is a one-day event designed to prepare students and their families for their first semester at Salisbury University. Attendance is required for all new, incoming students. At Sea Gull Start-Up, you will receive an overview of life at SU, connect with academic leaders, receive your class schedule and learn about important deadlines and requirements of attendance. Parents and family members are welcome to attend (students and families follow different schedules). Students will receive information about Sea Gull Start-Up along with instructions on how to register for Sea Gull Start-Up, from the Office of Admissions.

The cost of the Sea Gull Start-Up is covered by your orientation fee and is non-refundable. Lunch is included in our Commons Dining Hall for new students. Family members who would like to enjoy lunch with their student will need to pay at the entrance of the Commons, $11.55 + tax ($12.24 per person).

June Sea Gull Start-Up dates: June 17 - 21 and June 24 - 28, 2019. Students will choose one day during this two-week window. Space is limited each day and is available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

There will also be an abbreviated Sea Gull Start-Up program offered in early August for those students admitted after the June orientation dates or who were unable to attend in June.
