Students Starting Fall 2020
Congratulations on becoming a Sea Gull! We are excited to welcome you to Salisbury University and help you discover all that SU has to offer, from academic resources to making friends and getting involved, to becoming familiar with where things are on campus. Your experience at Orientation will provide you with a comprehensive introduction to our community and expectations, as well as provide you with all the support you need to transition successfully to the flock!
First Flight, Salisbury University’s multiple-day program facilitated by student leaders, will begin on Thursday evening, August 27th followed by two full days of activities on Friday, August 28th and Saturday, August 29th. First Flight will provide valuable information about becoming part of the SU community, making friends, getting involved and becoming comfortable at your new home. The following information is for both first year and transfer students; residential and commuter students – so please be sure to join us!
First Flight is a hybrid experience, with both virtual and in-person, on-campus events. A full schedule with links to reserve tickets for free in-person events, meeting locations and links to access online programs will be provided next week!
In order to properly adhere to university policy and social-distancing guidelines surrounding COVID-19, students will be placed into tracks based on their residence hall (or commuter status). In addition, tickets will be required, and attendance will be taken at in-person events in order to maintain accurate contact-tracing records. It will be important to follow the schedule you're provided.
