Salisbury University students on campus

President’s Student Advisory Council (PSAC)

About:

The President’s Student Advisory Council (PSAC) is designed to provide students with a platform to engage in constructive discussion, on a regular basis, with the President of Salisbury University and Chief of Staff. They will share insight, advice and feedback on specific university programs and initiatives. As a member of PSAC, you will interact with local, state and federal government officials as well as University leaders on a regular basis and during special events.

Co-sponsored by the Institute for Public Affairs and Civic Engagement (PACE) and the President’s Office, PSAC offers students the opportunity to grapple with pressing issues faced by the student body and greater community as well as represent peers in an administrative setting.

Application:

PACE and the President’s Office are looking for civically-minded individuals who have a desire to vocalize the sentiments of their peers and help to represent the students of Salisbury University. As a member of the Council, you must have the ability to attend meetings from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. on the first Tuesday of each month, beginning in February 2020.

For the Council to produce anything meaningful, its members must reflect the sentiments and demographics of the student body. That being said, we encourage students of all backgrounds and statuses to apply for this program.
