Bosserman Center for Conflict Resolution (BCCR)
The Bosserman Center for Conflict Resolution serves Salisbury University and the Greater Salisbury community, with the capacity to extend services regionally, nationally, and internationally. The Center operates on an applied learning model, empowering students to gain experiential practice in conflict resolution under the supervision of faculty and staff practitioners.
The Bosserman Center for Conflict Resolution provides a full suite of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) services to support individuals and organizations with skills-building and the systems needed for constructive problem solving, improved communication, and equitable resolution of disputes.
Key Services
Our team of practitioners delivers a comprehensive suite of professional and confidential ADR services tailored to the specific needs of individuals, groups, and organizations. We develop approaches and processes that are culturally responsive and tailored to the unique needs of clients and communities serviced. Some of our core offerings include:

Mediation - Confidential, voluntary, and non-binding dispute resolution for community members and organizations.

Arbitration - Primary for union-based entities. Other areas covered on a case-by-case basis.

Facilitation - Neutral guidance for group meetings and decision-making processes that are culturally responsive and tailored to the unique needs of group(s).

Conflict Coaching – One-on-one coaching for managers, employees, students, and community members focused on skill-building and self-management of conflict.

Conflict Resolution Workshops & Trainings - Custom-designed conflict resolution education and skills-building.

Appreciative Inquiry - For organizations experiencing conflict we can tailor a process of discovery to map out a path forward towards organizational growth and development.

Ombuds Services – Neutral services for organizations that can include a customized blend of ADR approaches or processes.

Research & Conflict Analytics - Emerging practice leveraging open-source data and GIS for conflict and peace research and practical applications for clients. Other forms of research that conforms to industry standard for protecting human subjects are available with consultation.
Parking Information
The Bosserman Center for Conflict Resolution is at 212 West Main Street - Suite 102, in Downtown Salisbury. Visitors can park in Salisbury University guest spots near the east entrance (between Camden Street and Circle Avenue) or in the City Parking Garage at 100-110 Circle Avenue. From there, walk to the Salisbury University Downtown building, enter through the double doors, and go up one flight of stairs (or take the elevator to the 2nd floor)

You have a 15-minute grace period after parking to complete payment.
