Christopher Elcik

My research interests involve identifying the relationships between the environment and human health. In particular, I have sought out to uncover the link between synoptic weather types and different forms of pain (e.g., migraine, fibromyalgia, rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, and general back pain). My ultimate goal is to use this information to develop weather-based human health forecasts.
