Delmarva Public Radio Hosts 'Emerging Voices' Fundraiser April 29

Delmarva Public RadioSALISBURY, MD---Emerging student writers from Salisbury University share their works during “Emerging Voices,” a fundraiser for Delmarva Public Radio, 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 29, in the Wicomico Room of the Guerrieri University Center.

Drs. John Nieves and Susan McCarty of the English Department host the evening of readings. Participating students include Sophie Bannister, Charoline Chavatel, Madeline Clarke, Charlotte Covey, Emmanuel Flores, Maxi Garte, Danielle Green, Caylie Herrman, Kara Kinnamon, Jesse Knodle, Erin Kolle, Kathryn Merwin, Allyson Parsons, Kyle Shaw, Tyler Tennant and Lauren Yarnall.

Admission is $10, $5 for SU faculty and staff with ID, free for SU students with ID. Additional donations are welcome. Books by Nieves and Delmarva Today: Writer’s Edition host Hal Wilson also will be available for purchase.
