Salisbury Film Society Presents '45 Years' Sunday, September 11

45 Years Film PosterSALISBURY, MD---The Salisbury Film Society (SFS) presents the critically acclaimed romantic drama 45 Years 2:30 p.m. Sunday, September 11, in Fulton Hall 111. 

45 Years follows married couple Geoff and Kate Mercer, who are about to celebrate their wedding anniversary when tragic news changes the couples lives forever. The body of Geoff’s first love is discovered frozen in the icy Alps … a love Kate never knew existed. 

Ty Burr of the Boston Globe said " 45 Years is a movie about intuition and inner lives, and you have to look fast to catch all its resonances." The cast is led by Charlotte Rampling and Tom Courtenay as Kate and Geoff. Both actors took home Best Actor/Actress at the Berlin International Film Festival and received praise for their performances.

The SFS series is co-sponsored by the Salisbury Wicomico Arts Council (SWAC) and SU’s Charles R. and Martha N. Fulton School of Liberal Arts. A group discussion follows the screening.
