SU's Wright Continues Feature Fridays Series September 23

John Wesley WrightSALISBURY, MD---Dr. John Wesley Wright, voice professor in Salisbury University’s Music, Theatre and Dance Department, continues SU’s Feature Fridays downtown Salisbury lecture and performance series September 23 at The Brick Room, 116 N. Division St.

The evening begins with a networking session at 5:30 p.m. At 6 p.m., Wright, a celebrated tenor known for his interpretations of music from baroque to Broadway, presents a participatory talk and performance, discussing and exploring the power of communal singing. Dinner provided by a downtown restaurant follows at 7 p.m. A different eatery is featured each month for dinner.

Upcoming speakers in the series include:

•October 28 – Elizabeth Kauffman, SU Art Galleries director and art faculty

•November 18 – Dr. William Folger, co-chair of the Music, Theatre and Dance Department and director of choral activities (with the SU Madrigal Choir)
