SU's PRESTO Students Preform Recitals Wednesday, December 10

treble clefSALISBURY, MD---Students taking lessons through Salisbury University’s PRESTO preparatory school of music share their talents during recitals at 5, 6:30 and 8 p.m. Wednesday, December 10, in the Great Hall of Holloway Hall.

The students range in age from 3-17 and in ability from beginner to intermediate. They perform solo violin, piano, cello, percussion and voice works, among others. Selections include Chopin’s “Ballade No. 1 in G Minor, Opus 23,” “Farandole” from Bizet’s L’Arlesienne Suite and Sietz’s “Violin Concerto No. 5,” as well as “Joy to the World” and “Panis Angelicus.”

Students represent PRESTO instructors including Nan Richerson, William Willis, Bobbie Thamert, Alissa Banks and Madeleine Clifton.
