SSO to perform annual holiday concert December 14

SALISBURY, MD ---The Salisbury Symphony Orchestra at Salisbury University presents its annual Holiday Concert on Saturday, December 14, at 8 p.m. in Holloway Hall Auditorium.

Featuring traditional carols and the popular sing-a-long finale, the program is directed by Dr. Thomas G. Elliot. The SSO will perform Mozart's Symphony No. 40 for the first time in concert.

The SSO boasts 63 members, some who travel up to three hours for rehearsals and performances. Founded in 1986, the orchestra will also perform Sibelius' Filandia and Johann Strauss' Tales from Vienna Woods Waltzes, O. 325 during the popular event.
