Calumet Institute June 9-15, 16-22"   

SALISBURY, MD---The Calumet Institute at Salisbury State University hosts the fifth annual Master Photographic Workshop on the SSU campus June 9-15 and June 16-22.  

The workshop is a series of individual programs designed to cover a broad range of subject areas, from traditional black and white photography, studio lighting and landscape and architectural photography to digital imagery. 

The instructors, Dan Burkholder, Bobbi Lane, Dennis Keeley, Norman McGrath, Doug Sperling, Les McLean, Richard Newman, Steve Simmons and George DeWolfe, are working, full-time fine art, commercial and educational photographers.

A reception for each of the weeklong sessions features an exhibit of student and instructor works. Graduation receptions, held in the Fulton Hall Gallery, will be on June 14 and 21 from 5-7 p.m. The public is invited to attend.

On Friday, June 15 and June 22, an open discussion, “Digital photography, where we are at today and where we might be going,” is  from 9-11:30 a.m. in Fulton Hall Room 111.  The discussion is free and open to the public.
