Planned Giving Sessions Monday, May 21

SALISBURY, MD---The Salisbury State University Foundation is sponsoring two-sessions on “Planned Giving” on  Monday, May 21, from 4-5 p.m. and 7:30-8:30 p.m. in SSU’s Alumni House on Camden Avenue.

Led by Pamela Purcell, director of planned giving services for the University System of Maryland (USM), the seminar describes how traditional planned giving techniques can be applied in non-traditional ways, and how those with limited means can use creative ways to leave a lasting legacy.

Licensed to practice law in Maryland and New York, Purcell also has an LLM degree in estate planning.  Prior to accepting her current position at the USM she served as the Foundation counsel to the University of Maryland Foundation, Inc. and practiced estate planning, probate and real estate law for 15 years. Purcell is an active member in the Chesapeake Bay Planned Giving Council, the Baltimore Estate Planning Council, the National Capital Planned Giving Council and the National Society of Fund Raising Executives.
